Maison Penelope sleeps up to eight people, ideal for two families holidaying together. The apartment has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom a double bed, the third bedroom a double bed, and the fourth bedroom has a bunk bed that can be separated from the third bedroom by a sliding door. Those two bathrooms really make all the difference, and what guests most often mention: no morning traffic jams mean a relaxing start to the day by the sea.
Literally cross the street and you’re on the beach. Maison Penelope is located on the Albert I Promenade, right on the seawall in the heart of Ostend. The Grand Beach is at your feet, and the Kursaal Casino is a two-minute walk away. You’re right in the heart of the bustling city center, with terraces, restaurants, and shops all around. For families who want both beach and city life, this is the perfect spot. The city center, with Kapellestraat (shopping street), is a five-minute walk away.
Yes, one private parking space is included in the rental. You will receive a badge for the garage upon check-in. Parking in the neighbourhood itself is paid and can be busy in high season, so that included parking space is really valuable. If you’re traveling with two cars, there are paid parking options nearby: the parking garage under Casino Kursaal or the peripheral parking areas a little further away (free but a 15-20 minute walk).
Check-in is from 4:00 PM via a key safe; you will receive the code in advance by email. Check-out is before 10:00 AM. Early check-in is sometimes possible, depending on our cleaning team’s schedule. A later check-out is also negotiable, but we cannot always guarantee it. The apartment is fully equipped for a group: a full kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, induction cooktop, Nespresso machine, and filter coffee maker. We provide filters and a starter pack. All dishes, pans, and kitchen utensils are provided for your group. Bed linens and towels are included. Wi-Fi is also included, of course, and all rooms are comfortably furnished.
