We know this location well: it’s on the eighth floor of a modern building on Zeedijk in Mariakerke, with panoramic sea views. It’s the perfect combination: the beach on your doorstep, but without the hustle and bustle of the city center. Mariakerke attracts families seeking peace and quiet. Ostend city center is 2 km away (5 minutes by car, 25 minutes on foot), so you get the best of both worlds. The eighth-floor apartment offers spectacular views of the entire coastline.
Yes, one private parking space is included in the rental. You will receive a badge for the garage upon check-in. For a second car, there are free parking options nearby: Randparking Maria-Hendrikapark and Randparking Koninginnelaan are both a 15-20 minute walk away. Parking in Mariakerke is generally much easier than in the busy center of Ostend.
Check-in is from 4:00 PM via a key safe; you will receive the code in advance. Check-out is before 10:00 AM. Early check-in is sometimes possible, depending on the schedule. The apartment is fully equipped for larger families: a modern kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, Nespresso machine, and filter coffee maker. We provide filters and a starter pack. All crockery and cookware for your group is provided. Bed linens and towels are included. There is a balcony where two people can stand, and there is a small terrace at the back.
